Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Expert In-home supports
Supported Independent Living (SIL) is help or supervision with daily tasks to help you live as independently as possible. SIL is paid personal supports, which includes assistance cooking meals, and personal care tasks, which happens, or is located in your home, which can be by yourself or with other people.
Sunnysights Independent Living has extensive expertise as a SIL housing provider, whereby we support people with complex needs.
Our comprehensive onboarding and training delivery means we understand the care, compassion and professionalism involved in supporting people who require significant help throughout the day.

Day programs or Community Participation is the support of people with a disability to access and engage in their community. Enjoying activities with friends in safe and supported environments is vital to our health and wellbeing, that's why, at Sunnysights, we place such a huge emphasis on helping our participants meet their goals, socialising and benefiting from a wide variety of activities created to improve skills, confidence and personal development.

High Intensity Supports
Sustainable solutions for complex needs
High intensity supports cover complex care needs that require advanced skills and training, such as medication management, mealtime support for swallowing difficulties, complex bowel care, tracheostomy support, wound care, and behaviour support for participants with complex needs.
At Sunnysights, our experienced team is uniquely equipped to deliver these supports. Our staff are trained to the highest NDIS Practice Standards, with ongoing professional development to ensure safe, skilled, and compassionate care.
NDIS Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)
Tailored accommodation for up to 90 days
Sunnysights understands the importance of finding the right home. That's why we offer shorter-term (up to 90 days) medium-term accommodation (MTA) while we secure long-term accommodation (SIL/SDA) and build a professional and sustainable support team around you.
MTA is often an integral tool in sourcing and securing sustainable accommodation.

National Disability Services
A comprehensive library of over 100 modules focussed on building the capabilities of disability support workers., Such as financial management, care plans, incident reporting and much more,
NDIS Practice Standards
Focussing on the rights and responsibilities for Participants. Support staff are trained in human rights, infection control, manual handling, professional boundaries, risk management, understanding abuse and much more
Crisis Prevention Institute
Sunnysights staff have access to in-house Crisis Intervention Training (formerly MAPA) which focuses on intervention strategies for physical restrictive practices.
